My compliments to Count Goya, who has outed me. He sent this evidence of my current gig in the real world. Well, in Fife, actually.
It isn't easy keeping things together when you are a a 250-year old retired general without a Skilled Worker visa. If you live near Kinghorn and you want a little plastering or light joinery work done, I might know someone. Cash only, please.
Looking forward to the compulsory ID app then? ☺
ReplyDeleteOr even worse the inevitable Reform landslide the media keep insisting is only a matter of time.....
"Excuse me sir, you're HOW old? French are you sir? How did you arrive in the UK?" ☺

It's a little known fact, but my mother was English. I don't know if that would help? I try to keep this all a bit dark, but it isn't easy. Next month, for example, will be the 200th anniversary of my death; I'm not quite sure how I'm going to celebrate this, to be honest.
DeleteI wish I'd known I would have given you the contract for building the Hinton Hut!
ReplyDeleteI appreciate it. Keep me in mind.
DeleteGood to see you’re keeping busy and out of trouble. I’ve some guttering that needs clearing if you get a mo.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds interesting - I'd have difficulty getting back into the UK though. Hmm - overall I can't see any disadvantages.
