Ahh? But is it more importnter then soljers??
Ray - I'll have to do some more thinking about that. It's a good question. One of the goodest!
I think you meant to say "One of the bestest"It is a sad day when a Colonial corrects the grammar of a BritonTheir seems to be a problem with basic english education over they're.As for the photo, of course beer is most importanter - when I think of the crown jewels of the UK, there pubs come to mind first
Sorry about that - yes, "one of the bestest" is much correcter. Thanks (btw, my spell-checker is hating this post!)
Blogger seems to be having a crazy turn today - I published a couple of earlier comments from Pierre Le Poilu and Dave Western and they just vanished - I am unable to re-publish the lost comments from the original emails or from within the comment publishing facility - if those gentlemen could possibly be bothered to send their comments again, I'd be most grateful - thanks very much.We can have a further discussion about whether beer is more better than blogs.
But you get the most importantest result when you combine beer and education vis. https://www.youtube.com/user/DrunkHistory
Checked it out - scary. Funny though.
As the possessor of not one, but two degrees in philosophy I can attest that education and beer are the same thing (at least if you do it right).
You did AWFully well, though you must have ruined your liver studying.
I studied ever so hard, often late into the night. I continue to study regularly, just to keep current.
I think it's beer wot's caused more fights, but education wot's caused more headaches. Also wot I think is that students are generally stupid and lots of education dunt always makem clever. But beer always makes em even stupider, so it must be importanter.
